Reverie Services LLC ("we", "us", or "our") provides gentle eco-friendly care services for gravestones and memorials, and operates the website reverie.services (the "Site") to help clients manage requests.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect personal information when you visit our Site or use our services. By using our Site or services, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Information That We Collect

We collect only the information necessary to provide our services and maintain communication with you.

When you create an account or request a service, we collect the following:

  • Your name and email address.
  • Any optional contact information you provide (for example, a phone number, city, or service details).
  • Information about memorial or grave sites (including the cemetery name, section or plot number, physical address or GPS location, and the names appearing on the monument).
  • Photos or videos of the memorial or surrounding area (which we store securely so that you can view them when signed into your Reverie Services account).
  • Transaction details (such as payment amount, plan type, and transaction ID; but never full credit-card numbers or banking information).

Sensitive Information:

  • We do not request or require you to provide sensitive personal information (such as medical records, government identification numbers, or financial account details). Please do not include such data in emails, messages, or calls to us.
  • Any sensitive information that you choose to send to us voluntarily (for example, through email or free-text fields or by phone) is provided at your own discretion and risk. Reverie Services LLC cannot guarantee the security or confidentiality of information transmitted outside our website or application, and we are not liable for any disclosure resulting from such transmission.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, manage, and improve our memorial care services.
  • Communicate with you about your account, visits, and service updates.
  • Process payments and manage subscriptions through our payment processor (Helcim).
  • Send photo and video documentation of completed visits to your account.
  • Respond to your inquiries and provide customer support.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate our Site and provide our services:

  • Supabase — for user authentication and secure data storage.
  • Cloudflare — for website hosting, content delivery, media storage (photos and videos), and web analytics. Cloudflare Web Analytics collects aggregated, non-personally-identifiable usage data (such as page views, referrer URLs, browser type, and country-level location) to help us understand how the Site is used and improve our services. Cloudflare Web Analytics does not use cookies and does not track individual visitors.
  • Helcim — for payment processing. We never see or store your full credit card number. Helcim handles all payment data in compliance with PCI DSS standards.
  • Mapbox — for mapping and geocoding of memorial locations.

Each of these providers has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data. We encourage you to review their policies.

4. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction. All data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored in encrypted databases.

However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

5. Cookies and Browser Storage

Our Site uses essential cookies and browser storage for authentication (keeping you signed in) and basic site functionality. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or analytics cookies.

We do collect anonymous, aggregated usage metrics through Cloudflare Web Analytics to help us improve the Site. This data is not linked to individual users, does not use cookies, and cannot be used to identify you.

6. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting us at hello@reverie.services.

If you delete your account, we will remove your personal information from our active systems. Some information may be retained in backups or as required by law.

7. Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top and, if the changes are significant, notify you through your account or by email. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.

Preamble

Reverie Services LLC ("we", "us", or "our") provides gentle eco-friendly care services for gravestones and memorials, and operates the website reverie.services (the "Site").

By creating an account or using our services, you ("you" or "Client") agree to be bound by this User Agreement. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or our services.

1. Services

Reverie Services provides seasonal memorial care, including cleaning, edging, debris removal, and photo documentation, as described on our Services page. Service visits are scheduled at our discretion within the applicable seasonal window.

We reserve the right to decline or discontinue service to any memorial at our sole discretion, including but not limited to situations involving safety concerns, inaccessible locations, or risk of damage.

2. Accounts

You must create an account to use our services. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You agree to provide accurate and current information when creating your account and to update it as needed.

3. Subscriptions and Payment

Our services are provided on an annual subscription basis. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on file for the applicable annual fee.

Payments are processed through Helcim, our third-party payment processor. You agree to Helcim's terms of service with respect to payment processing.

If you add a memorial to your subscription outside of the renewal period, a prorated charge for the remainder of the current service year may apply and will be processed immediately at the time the memorial is added.

Subscription renewals are processed annually in May. You will be notified in advance of any renewal.

4. Refund Policy

Reverie Services does not issue monetary refunds. If you are unsatisfied with a service visit, please contact us at hello@reverie.services and we will work with you to make it right, which may include a re-visit at no additional charge.

If you cancel your subscription, your service will continue through the end of the current service year. No prorated refunds are provided for early cancellation.

5. Memorial Information and Media

You represent that you have the right to request care services for the memorials you register with us, and that the information you provide is accurate.

Photos and videos taken during service visits are stored securely and made available to you through your account. We may use anonymized or non-identifying photos for promotional purposes unless you opt out by contacting us.

6. Limitation of Liability

Reverie Services provides care with the utmost respect and attention. However, we are not liable for pre-existing damage to memorials, damage caused by weather or natural events, or deterioration resulting from the age or condition of the memorial.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Reverie Services LLC, including its owners, employees, and independent contractors, shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services or the Site.

7. Termination

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate this Agreement or for any other reason at our discretion, with notice when practicable.

8. Privacy

Your use of the Site and services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into this Agreement by reference.

9. Changes to This Agreement

We may update this User Agreement from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top. If the changes are significant, we will notify you through your account. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Agreement.

10. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Minnesota, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
